Which is a better car the Toyota Yaris hatchback or the Chevrolet Aveo hatchback? They are both really cheap but which is the better choice?

A: Hi, some information to help you make your own choice... 1. The Chevy Aveo is actually made in South Korea by Daewoo. Chevy purchased a controlling interest in Daewoo so they could have access to their small vehicles. 2. The Yaris incorporates many of the advanced features that are present in higher end Toyotas, including: a. no steering pump or steering belt (no squealing when you turn a corner after it wears), the Yaris uses electric steering which is much more reliable, weighs less, has fewer parts and fewer moving parts b. individual fuel injectors for each cylinder with computer control over each cylinder independent of the others (if you get some water in the gas, the system can actually slightly advance or retard the spark in that individual cylinder to clear it) c. I have to teach class, I'll finish later.

Q: Can a 6"3' over 300 pound man fit in a Toyota Yaris comfortably?

A: no an btw the Honda Fit is a much better car. check out the Hyundai Elantra SE - $17,945 he will fit better in that. the Yaris has a noisy unrefined engine bad brakes, unless you pay more for the ABS and a choppy unstable ride on the HWY the car will literally make your tired after driving at 60 mph for more than 10 minutes. Q: How are the Toyota Corolla and/or Toyota Yaris (4 door) on gas?
I am thinking about buying a new car and I was interested in looking at either the Toyota Corolla or the Yaris. I drive alot and commute about 100 miles total a day, 4 days a week, so I need a car with good gas mileage.

A: I have a Yaris and it gets great gas milage, about 44 mpg highway. I used to do that for work too - about 95 miles 4 days a week. I only used 1 tank of gas for all 4 days. I love it. It handles well and is comfortable. Plus the trunk is pretty big. If you get the Yaris, get the "S". We test drove the regular sedan and ended up getting an "S" and it handles better.

A: great car and great fuel economy. another toyota finest vehicle. started the yaris in 1999 as the vitz in japan and europe and been very well overseas. one of the number 1s overseas due to mpg. i love it!!!

Q: Buying a new car between a saturn Ion and a Toyota Yaris?
They have some pretty good incentives on Saturns and I can get a GM discount and my girlfriends cousin has an 06 Ion and loves it. I test drove a Yaris and liked as well. I'm a little hesitant on buying a Toyota because I had kind of a sour experance with a Camry, lots of quality problems like creaks,rattles,and sensors. Thank god it was lease. I bought a used Buick a while back at a saturn dealer and really liked how easy they were, I liked how they didn't try to shove something down your throat(Honda dealers are awful at that).

Q: Does anyone have any opinion about the Toyota Yaris?
I'm in the market for cars and I need one to be gas efficient and pretty cheap as well as pretty easy on the eyes. I've decided on the Toyota Yaris, but I can't seem to find very much information on it. I've even tried edmunds.com but most of the stuff is left blank. Anyone has any other suggestions for a small, cheap and gas efficent car? What about any information on the Yaris?

A: I have a 2 door liftback automatic. It is loaded with ALL of the packages (convience, power, and weather guard) and it was only $14,100. I have had the car for over 3 weeks, and only filled the tank twice. I am getting about 35 mpg local. (It would be better on the highway) It has great pickup - I have to be careful about speeding. The handling is great and there is tons of storage. Despite the small looking outside - the inside is remarkably spacious. The only drawback is there is no cruise control, but with the ease of handling, I don't see that being a major problem.

I am 183 cm tall guy. My company will give me a toyota Yaris Sedan. I have no time to test drive it. I need to know if it is suitable for me cause I heard it is small.

A: not sure about the Yaris. But I think the Nissan Versa is very spacious infront and in the back. You should go to www.edmunds.com you can compare cars of your choice and when looking at specs, you'll see front leg room, head room, etc.

I got a 2008 toyota yaris in september. I have been able to make the payments on it but i got laid off for three weeks. Its not a lease. If i cant afford to make the payments in the future, could i just take it back to toyota and have them resell it?

A: No the dealer don't want it back. It belongs to the fiance company.You need to sell it and pay off the loan. The car is not worth near what you paid for it, as it is a used car now. You can sell it Get what you can and you will have to make up the difference on the note. Don't let em repo it because you will still owe the money after they take it back. Your best bet is to get an extra part time job to make the payments .........md
