Q: toyota corolla?
I am looking for a reliable compact car. I am planning on getting a Toyota Corolla or Honda civic- probably some 3-4 yrs old used car. (hoping to spend ~10k) I saw a 2005 Toyota Corolla LE, Auto, for $9800. I am not sure about the features that it has (planning on having a look & test drive soon). What's your say on
(1) Toyota corolla, in general, as a reliable, fuel-efficient car
(2) this particular deal for 2005 model
A: Honda Civic is much better than corolla but according to your budget i think corolla is not bad idea.......other than its your choice..... but CIVIC is my dream car....
Q: How often are you supposed to change oil in Toyota Corolla 2008 ?
I suppose this question is moslty for Toyota Corolla 2008 owners, but anyone is welcome to aswer. Please indicate if you are a Toyota Corolla 2008 owner :). Thank you.
A: For every car manufacturers recomendations are every 3 months or 3 thousand miles! This will help on gas milage and to keep your engine running to its full potential. if you do not change the oli or check it then you can blow your motor,
that is for any car. BTW I drive a Chevy Malibu LS. corollas are great!!!! But I love my chevy!!!!!
Q: Between the 2004 Toyota Corolla and the 2004 Ford Forcus, which car should I buy?
I need a car that is safe, has good gas mileage and is reliable. Between the 2004 Toyota Corolla and the 2004 Ford Forcus which one is an overall better car and which one should I buy? Also, if you could include some information about the cars and why one is a better buy that would be great because I don't know much about cars. Thanks!
A: Toyota is known to be a highly superior car over American made cars. It generally lasts longer, depreciates less over time, requires less maintenance, and has better gas mileage.
Fords have gotten better over the years, but I think Toyota is still known to be supreme.
After all.. FORD =
Fix
Or
Repair
Daily
Q: What is the diffrence between the Toyota corolla s or the Toyota corolla xrs?
I have a toyota corolla s. I wana know what is the diffrence between mine and the xrs ?
A: The differences are significant. The Corolla S is basically a Corolla CE/LE with a Sport Appearance Package. Add ground effects and sportier trim to a CE or LE Corolla and you have the Corolla S. Everything mechanical ( suspension, engine, transmission, brakes, etc.) and even the wheels are the same as the CE /LE Corolla. It just looks sporty. Not to play it down because it still looks good and is extremely reliable. However, the XRS adds to the S a more powerful engine, bigger brakes with rear wheel disc brakes instead of drum brakes, a sportier suspension, bigger tires and wheels, and a few other goodies to enhance its performance and comfort. You also get a 6 speed manual on the XRS and an automatic isn't available. The S uses either an automatic or a 5 speed manual transmission like other Corollas. Your Corolla has about 130 hp; the XRS puts out 170 hp. If you have the '09 Corolla, the S is basically equipped the same as the '08 and the engine is basically the same. The XRS now uses the 4 cylinder Camry's bigger engine with 30-35 more horsepower and you can now get an automatic transmission on the XRS.
Q: How much would it cost to replace toyota corolla 05 windshield glass?
Can any one please let me know how much would it cost me to replace toyota corolla (year 2005) windshield? And how much would be the labor charges? Your help is greatly appreciated.
A: Should be less than $300 including install. Some places will come out and do it in your driveway. It depends on how common the car is and how fancy the glass. Common cars are cheaper.
Q: What is the best price for a Toyota corolla to pay in MA?
I am planning to buy a new Toyota corolla. There are 3 models CE, S and LE - what is the real difference in them? I am looking at Auto transmission, Power windows remote locking and remote start.
Should I get extended warranty - what should I pay for it?
What should I pay for remote start and should I get it done from the dealer at the first place?
Also How much should I pay for an undercarriage rust protection?
Please advise, It Would help me update my wish-list to fit my budget and also negotiate with the dealer on these things.
Thanks.
A: you can easily see the differences amongst the models here http://www.toyota.com/corolla/models.html
toyotas are excellent cars, I wouldn't go for an extended warranty from the beginning, you will be able to extend it later if the car will have problems, anyway if you want an idea of a standard prices go get some quick quotes from http://www.extendautowarranty.info/ and compare them with what the dealer tries to sell you
I am sorry but I can't help you on the other points

Q: Does a Toyota Corolla SE have a RCA jack in the back of the integrated original stereo?
Does a Toyota Corolla SE have a RCA jack in the back of the integrated original stereo?
I was wondering if my stereo had this jack so I would be able to connect a cable to my mp3 player. I would have to drill a hole to get the cable through, but I'm willing to try. Most car stereos have this jack in the back, but I'm not sure if mine does. Does anyone have a definite answer? Or, even better, do you know where I could find this information myself?
Thank you.
A: NO there is no rca jacks but there is a 12 pin plug for a cd changer ,there you can plug the auxiliary audio interface you press the cd button twice to hear the external audio source

Q: How much would it cost to change a 2004 Toyota Corolla's trasmission from automatic to manual?
Just wondering a price, found an 2004 Toyota Corolla S for around $9k, but I'm going to negotiate. It has around 88 miles. The only down side is I want a manual and its an automatic, but its the cheapest I can find for a Corolla S model in my area (DFW 75248). Any idea on ballpark price ranges for transmission conversions?
A: Assuming you are using a used transmission...$1500 for the transmission, $2000 for new computer, $1500 for a new wiring harness, $2000 in labor...
You are WAY better off getting a manual from the factory.

Q: What is that noise from my toyota corolla vents when the heat is on?
I have a 2003 toyota corolla and just recently got an oil change and afterwards I started hearing a noise from my vents when I cut the heat on.
A: I've been here before. My guess would be that an object has gotten into the blower motor housing and is rubbing, flapping or making contact with the fan. Once mine was simply a piece of folded up paper, another time in was an ink pen that had fallen through the defroster vent. Some models have an access panel you can remove to look see. Try switching between heat and cooling, maybe you can dislodge whatever it might be. It could be that the bearings/ bushings in the fan motor are worn or in need of lube. I don't think the oil change truly was the cause.
Q: For a 2000 Toyota Corolla: Is Automatic Transmission fluid the same as the power steering fluid?
The guy at Autozone said it was the same thing and recommended Coastal Automatic Transmission Fluid D/M. Is this the correct fluid to put in to my 2000 Toyota corolla?
Do you know that color the fluid should be? Does it matter?
A: yes is the same fluid but coastal is the cheapest brand of oil.
Q: I am planning to sell my Toyota Corolla; somebody can give me some tips on maximizing the selling price of my ?
I am planning to sell my Toyota Corolla; somebody can give me some tips on maximizing the selling price of my used car?
A: First step of maximising the selling price of your used car you need knowing how much it's worth.
Look at other adverts in the publications at online car trading website you're advertising in so you don't stick out like a sore thumb with a particularly high or low asking price.
If your car is in a extraordinary good condition, furthermore, has covered fewer miles than average, your car is worth more. Use mileage-adjustment tables to work out how much you should be adding on to its price.
Whereas, a more-than-average mileage means you have to deduct some price from the asking price if you want to get people interested in your used car.Be honest with yourself about the condition of your car.
If you car has some flaws, you'll have to adjust the price accordingly if you don't want buyers to walk away as soon as they see it.
If you're lucky enough to have a highly desirable auto model that other prospects are clamouring to buy, you are able to sell it to them for more than the list price so they can jump the waiting list. A quick search of the internet should pull up some sample prices, while the classified section in Autocar trading website also carries adverts for these kinds of cars every week.
Q: What kind of key is Toyota Corolla 2007's keys and how to program?
Hi, I have a toyota corolla 07 car and I wanted to get a third key as I didnt get a valet key for my car. I have a toyota 4d programmer, but have not used it yet. I wanted to know if anyone has used it? And if they could give me directions? I looked around online and they sell 4d master keys and 4d key, but they look alike. Does anyone know what the difference is? Thank you.
A: If that is the orange programmer, you are about to make a locksmith or dealer very happy to the tune of 4 figures.
