It became stuck when my husband unlocked it and I pulled the handle too early. The alarm won't arm because the door isn't closed all the way but it won't close for some reason.

Everyone please maintain your vehicle. I am learning a costly lesson. My truck has/had been running fine, no noise no nothing! Yesterday while driving down a major highway in rush hour traffic the temp gauage went all the way up to hot and the engine locked (while I was on the freeway) smoke started coming from under the hood. I am lucky to be alive! (I was almost hit several times) car towed to garage. told me first water pump, some type of belt and would need a new radiator soon. Went to the garage and coolant was added etc. when the mechanic stated the truck I knew it wasn't "right" it was shaking (not hard) but it didn't sound right. It showed several misfires, then the mechanic said the head gasket was shot. The waterpump, 2 belts cost me $600. He said the gasket will be $2300. I cried right in the garage. I'm a single working mom...I know if I had done proper maintence this might not have happened. Is this price right? The truck is paid for... should I sell it?
A: Did you take the car to a local garage or Lexus Dealer? A head gasket is only a piece of rubber and does wear over time. If you would have stopped right away, you would have lessened the damage. How many miles does the LX have. It go well over 200,000 miles if properly maintained. Call around and get a few different quotes. I hope it works out for you.

A: No dealer is going to do it..A dealer cannot sell a car legally without first having a state inspection...It may not pass and he may need to do some things on it..There is more to it than just buying a vehicle and selling it..Also, it would more than likely take a good part of the 500.00 that you offer to get it shipped to the dealer location...So, no dealer is going to do this!
