Q: How do I change the Temperature reading in Lexus ES 330 from Fahrenheit to Celsius?
I recently imported my US car to Canada and would like to know if there is any way to change the outside/inside temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius
A: What the Owner's Manual says? It has to have some that converts from Metric to US Standard. A car of that kind should have that choice, if not, is pretty lame. Or leave it on F, I am used to see it on both since I travel way too much outside the US.
I had a 92 Chevy Astro AWD with a digital dashboard that had a button right on it to change it from Metric to US Standard.
Q: What does the button "ASL" mean on a Lexus 2004 ES 330 Nav screen?
Does anyone know what the "ASL" button means and what it does? I have an ES 330 with a touch screen navigation. Thanks!
A: ASL = "Automatic Sound Levelizer"
Basically what it does is automatically change your volume depending on the cabin noise. For example, if you have your windows down, it will turn up the volume to compensate for the wind noise and etc.

A: Just go down to your local autoparts store and have them look up what kind of filter you need. Most of the time they will have it in stock and if you ask they will come out and help you put it in. there are only a couple clips on the air box and it pops right out. pretty easy.
Q: lexus es 330 owners only?
i have a es 300 right now. i found a 2006 lexus es 330 for 16,000 with low miles. is there any cons about this car?there was a recall on the es 300 model for engine/oil sludge but i never had a problem and my es has treated me well.only cons about my es 300 is with the cup holders which i hate and when stepping into my car my foot always hits the e brake. i don't want to hear from people that never owned a lexus saying oh it's same as toyota. i know what specs the car has.
A: I have an RX and a LS, but I can say the ES330 was probably the best overall ES ever. The interior is top quality with nice touch of wood trim all around. The current ES350 has too much plastic dash on the passenger side. The ES330 carried the wood trim over better. The car had it's "hesitation" problems when accelerating, but if you're not a "lead-foot" driver, you won't notice the lag. The only complaint for me is the front end, does look "Camry'ish" but the rear is different in many way.
Like I said before, I think the ES330 is the best overall package of the ES ever and the 2006 was final year of the ES330 and I don't think it had any sludge issues with the 3.3 liter engine.
Q: Does the Lexus ES 330 have a smother, more comfortable ride then the New Lexus ES 350?
I currently own the Lexus ES 330 have not been able to test drive the new 350 yet. From what I have heard the New ES 350 has a much harder ride then the old 330. Is this true? I know the horsepower in the car is incomparable to the old 330, but did Lexus make the ES a harder ride because it’s now a sportier vehicle? Thanks
My source is someone who also has the ES 330 and recently went to get his car serviced and received a ES 350 as a loner car. Is it possible that the loner cars they give out may have problems, because from what he told me the car had a horrible suspension, and you felt every bump on the road. He actually compared the 350 to a jeep. I was thinning that maybe the loner cars they give may be defective, or could it be that it was the base model with absolutely nothing in it (no navigation, no wood, etc ...). Thanks
A: Check your sources, because that is completely opposite of what the ES350 is. The ES350 delivers such an outstanding ride compared to the es330. Yes it is a lot faster and can handle better, its suspension is softer and nimble. Test drive one for yourself.
It is possible the ES330 he has may have electronic dampening suspension and he is driving a beat up loaner vehicle with overinflated tires. I don't know the scenario, but I drive these vehicles on a daily basis and I have the ES350 is a all around a better ride than an ES330.

I recently purchased a 2004 Lexus ES 330 and I am in the process of getting insurance. As on all ES 330 there is a factory installed theft deterrent system. On the insurance application it asks what is the name of the theft deterrent system. This is for a discount.

A: I would say definitely get the is350. they dont make the rx330 anymore now its the rx 350 and its not worth that much at around $40,000. I own a es 350 and absolutely love it, it is not a performance car, but has a very quiet and cushiony and luxurious ride. the is350 is a sportscar coming off with a good 0-60 time, and 306 horsepower more than any of the other ones. Personally, if you can stretch your budget a bit go for the GS model, but if not get the is350 im telling you its a great car.

tele atlas , cant buy for us, only euerope ,so can i use a differnt maping system in the denso unit or what can i do not to pay 400.00 dollars at dealer. the dealer gets it somehow, thanks for your imput
A: looks like you need to go to a car specialty shop. You know the ones that does things like car stereos and such. they should be able to help you. If not you may have no choice but to take it to a dealer.

OK but yyou want a lexus- GREAT CHOICE.
But the es nice car- but i say go for a gs400 or gs430. You can add basic mods it will be as quick as the 5 series. It is so good looking quiet reliable and that lexus factor of what a ride.
